Product Overview
These HID iCLASS cards are programmed to work with your access control system and require a few details when ordering. The facility code (sometimes called a site code) identifies your organisation within the access control system, while the card number sequence ensures each card has a unique number. If you are replacing existing cards, you will normally use the same facility code and continue the numbering sequence to avoid duplicate card numbers.
The 26-bit format is one of the most widely used access control formats and determines how the facility code and card number are stored on the card. If you already have an access control system in place, these details are often available from your current cards, system administrator, or security installer. If you’re unsure, simply send us a photo of an existing card and we’ll help identify the information needed before you place your order.
