IDP Smart 32 Printer

The IDP SMART-32S ID Card Printer is a desktop printer for organisations that need to produce staff ID cards, visitor badges and membership cards in-house.

Manufactured by IDP Corporation, the SMART-32S uses direct-to-card dye-sublimation technology to produce full-colour plastic cards at 300 dpi, with speeds of up to 260 colour cards per hour.

It features automatic card feeding, an 80-card input hopper, USB and Ethernet connectivity, and support for compatible PVC, PET and composite PVC cards.

• Up to 720 monochrome cards per hour

The printer supports 300 dpi colour and monochrome printing, with 600 dpi and 1200 dpi modes available for monochrome printing.

This makes it suitable for producing cards containing employee photographs, names, company logos, barcodes and identification details.

350-Print Colour Ribbon Capacity

The SMART-32S supports YMCKO colour ribbons with a capacity of 350 prints per roll.

This allows organisations to produce multiple full-colour ID cards before replacing the ribbon.

Automatic Card Feeding

The SMART-32S includes an automatic card feeder with an 80-card input capacity and a removable 25-card output hopper.

This allows facilities teams to prepare batches of employee ID cards without manually feeding every blank card.

USB and Ethernet Connectivity

The SMART-32S includes USB and built-in Ethernet connectivity.

USB provides a connection to an individual workstation, while Ethernet allows installation within a compatible workplace network. Wi-Fi connectivity is available as an optional configuration.

Optional Double-Sided Printing

The standard SMART-32S prints on one side of a card.

Double-sided printing is available with an optional flipper module.
