IDP Smart 52 ID Card Printer
Designed for busy card issuance environments, the SMART-52D delivers a substantial improvement in printing performance over the previous generation. With print speeds of up to 280 single-sided full-colour cards per hour and 200 dual-sided full-colour cards per hour, it enables organisations to produce identification cards efficiently without compromising on quality.
For applications requiring text, serial numbers or other monochrome information, the printer can produce up to 1,000 monochrome cards per hour.
An upgraded multi-core processor and expanded internal memory contribute to faster processing and improved responsiveness. Combined with an enlarged ribbon capacity, these improvements help reduce interruptions during longer printing sessions.
Key Benefits
The SMART-52D uses advanced direct-to-card dye-sublimation technology to produce sharp, vibrant images and clearly defined text. Its standard 300dpi print resolution delivers excellent results for photographs, corporate branding, logos, barcodes and detailed card artwork.
IDP’s newly developed Wide Color Spectrum technology improves colour reproduction, producing a broader range of tones and more natural-looking images. This is particularly beneficial when printing photographic identification cards or designs requiring accurate colour representation.
The printer also supports enhanced monochrome printing at resolutions of up to 1200dpi, making it suitable for producing fine text and intricate black-and-white details.
