Evolis Zenius Card Printer

Full-Colour ID Card Printing at 300 dpi

The Evolis Zenius Classic produces single-sided plastic ID cards using dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer technology.

Its 300 dpi print resolution allows organisations to print card designs containing photographs, names, company logos and identification details.

The printer supports edge-to-edge printing and can produce both full-colour and monochrome cards.

Fast Printing for Everyday ID Card Issuance

The Zenius Classic delivers manufacturer-rated printing speeds of:

• Up to 150 full-colour cards per hour using a YMCKO ribbon

• Up to 500 monochrome cards per hour

These speeds make it suitable for facilities teams that need to print new employee cards, replace lost badges or prepare small batches of identification cards.

Actual printing times depend on the card design, ribbon and printing conditions.

Compact Desktop Design

The Zenius Classic is designed for desktop use, making it suitable for offices and reception environments where space is limited.

This is particularly useful for organisations that want to print ID cards internally without allocating a large area to printing equipment.

Automatic and Manual Card Feeding

The Zenius Classic supports both automatic and manual card feeding.

The automatic input feeder holds up to 50 standard 0.76 mm cards, with a 20-card output hopper for completed cards.

Manual feeding provides flexibility when printing individual cards or using supported card types for specific identification requirements.

This allows organisations to manage both occasional card printing and small production batches.

USB Connectivity

The Evolis Zenius Classic connects to a computer using USB.

This provides a straightforward connection for an individual card printing workstation.

The standard Classic model does not include Ethernet connectivity. Organisations requiring network connectivity should consider a suitable Zenius Expert configuration.

Two-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Evolis Zenius Classic includes a two-year manufacturer’s warranty covering the printer and printhead, subject to Evolis warranty conditions.

Regular cleaning and use of compatible consumables are important for maintaining the printer and meeting applicable warranty requirements.
